This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be requested and processed for our foreign exchange services. Given the nature of currency exchange and international transfers, certain transactions are subject to specific refund rules and regulatory requirements.
Refund Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must generally be met:
- Cancelled transactions: Refund requests must be submitted before the transaction has been executed and settled.
- Duplicate transactions: If a duplicate payment is identified, we will process a refund upon verification.
- Incorrect transactions: If funds were sent to an incorrect account due to an error on our part, we will take immediate corrective action.
- Service fees: Refund requests for service fees must be submitted within 7 days if the service has not been rendered.
Non-Refundable Items
- Completed foreign exchange transactions that have been settled
- Exchange rate spreads once a transaction has been executed
- SWIFT and correspondent bank charges for completed transfers
- Pre-paid travel card load fees after the card has been loaded
- Western Union transfer fees once the transfer has been sent
- Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client

- Provide documentation: Include transaction details, receipt, and reason for the refund request
- Review: Our team will assess your request within 3-5 business days
- Notification: You will receive our decision in writing
- Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days via the original payment method
Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may request a review by our compliance department. Escalation is available through our Ombudsman (Ouvidoria). This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Brazilian consumer protection laws.
